A licensed verifier came out to the house for the trailer, then a trip to the DMV. The boat and the trailer are both in our name now, with CF numbers for the bow and a permanent plate for the trailer.
Well I still hate the DMV but I’ll praise the little ol’ lady at the Redlands office who spent quite a bit of her afternoon helping me work through registering this boat and trailer. It had a lot of hurdles against it. Out-of-state transfer (from Idaho), bills of sale but no previous titles, no hull number on the boat, boat not registered since 2001 and in a different state/owner than I bought it from, Oregon “blue tag” on the trailer but no mfg vin. But we got her done! Regs and tags in hand, titles on the way
